Jewellery to suit you best

They may be called accessories but a piece of jewellery holds the power to make or break an outfit. Here are some tips to help you find the jewellery that suits you best and elevate any look.

Jewellery looks great when it is a different shape than your morphology.

Let’s start with earrings and how to find the perfect pair for your face shape.

If you have a round or oval face shape, longer, hanging earrings will look amazing on you. Hoops are also a favourite of oval face gals.

For narrow faces, studs and clusters of earrings compliment your face shape perfectly. For inspiration, just type in ear candy into Pinterest and get ready to become obsessed. Try mixing our Tie breaker, Doubles and Point earrings for a stack that will become your everyday essentials.

If you’re still unsure, a dainty, small and discreet earring works for any face shape and is the perfect understated piece. Our Ovalis gold and Auris sapphire earrings are perfect for this.

For others jewellery, the rules are a little different. For necklaces or bracelets, the shape should compliment your silhouette.

Depending on where you want to draw the eye may help determine which length chain you choose. Love your collarbones? Choose our 40cm length.

Want to draw the eye a little further south, a 45cm necklace is perfect.

For rings, the rules get popped in a suitcase and tossed in the ocean. Stack em high, wear one at a time. Big rings on pinkies and fine rings on thumbs. Our hands are often one of the first things people notice about us. A bold mani, a statement ring, whether you talk with you hands or are never without a coffee in your hand, they’re on show.

Some people have a preference to wear silver or gold, and some lucky people can wear whatever they like. There is no right or wrong way to choose a preferred colour but if you’re unsure or buying for a friend, you may find the following useful.

There are three different colours of jewellery : Silver or white gold, yellow gold and rose gold. The colour that will suit you best can be chosen according to your skin tone and hair colour.

Therefore, if you have olive or darker skin and you are brunette, gold jewels are made for you. You can also wear almost any colour, you lucky thing.

Gold and orange tones are also perfect for red hair and dark blond hair, as this will highlight your skin tone!

For people with paler skin and mousey or blond hair, silver pieces are will look and feel best on you. You can also wear rubies or emeralds by choosing them in blue, red, green or even purple.

As for rose gold pieces, go for gold! This colour is perfect for every skin tone and every hair colour.

Happy shopping!
