Met Gala: The Jewels
This year’s Met Gala has been pretty exciting. We’ve seen incredible and surprising outfits but it feels like we always forget to talk about the jewellery that went with the looks. This event is also the night where the most amazing jewellery is worn and this is why we thought we could do a little recap on the best pieces seen on the pink carpet.
The 2019 Edition will probably be remembered as the one offering a wealth of diamonds, crystals and rhinestones.

For the night, the singer was seen in a beautiful jaw-dropping sparkling Versace Dress. To match it she added a magnificent Harry Winston diamond necklace composed of a 65.32 carat purple sapphire and earrings, bracelets and rings that added up to more than 150 carats.

Priyanka Chopra & Nick Jonas
The couple’s jewellery look was made by a Swiss jeweller. Priyanka was wearing a pink sapphire and diamonds earrings, bracelets and necklaces while her husband was wearing a diamond watch matching the necklace and the rings. Both were dressed by Dior.

The singer and actress definitely knows how to surprise everyone. She is already known for her eccentric looks on the red carpet and for this year’s Met Gala she didn’t let anybody down. And it is not with one but four looks that she brought to play. Arriving in a beautiful Brandon Maxwell cape dress with a 25 foot train she changed then in a pink dress allowing us to see her jewellery. She was wearing a fistful of Tiffany&Co diamond, spinel, purple sapphire and rubellite rings and a Tiffany&Co yellow gold and diamond butterfly necklace.

Kendall Jenner looked stunning in a Versace feathers dress. Her gown was perfectly matching her Tiffany&Co imperial topaz and diamonds necklace and earrings.

For this pink carpet, Bella was wearing a beautiful gown designed by Moschino. To this black crystal look she added a pair of diamond and emerald earrings designed by Lorraine Schwartz.

Emily Blunt looked absolutely beautiful in her Michael Kors gown. This incredible gown is composed of 510,000 gold sequins and 1,344 gold crystals. It took 1500 hours to hand-embroider them to the dress. She finished this stunning outfit with a pair of diamond and gold earrings designed by Messika.

Naomi Campbell was wearing a Bulgari Vintage platinum, diamond and gemstone bracelets and mid-century ruby and diamond rings.

With his pink sequinned suit designed by the filipino designer Zaldy, RuPaul made the choice to wear David Webb’s jewellery on the pink carpet of this year’s edition of the Met Gala. He was wearing multiple diamond rings and a ruby necklace.

The actress looked stunning in her Givenchy mini-dress. In addition to it she was wearing over 200,000 dollars worth jewellery. Her diamond tassel earrings are made by Tiffany&Co and her faux-pearl and diamond headpiece is from Givenchy.
