The 2019 Australian Fashion Week took place this passed week in Sydney and we wanted to share with you some of our favourite shows. We also couldn't help notice a couple of little themes crossing the runway.
During Fashion Week we saw designers expressing only the most essential elements of a product by getting rid of any unnecessary components and features.
Michael Lo Sordo has opted for this method in his runway show. These following pictures really show minimalism and how the lack of flourishes or accessories permits to show the real potential of the clothes. His use of fabric and materials was also a complete dreamscape of feathers and silk.
Check out his instagram for endless inspiration.
As for the beauty looks, Michael Lo Sordo also won the runway, a sleek design complimented his show beautifully. The hair looks were simple, pushed back or tied up. The makeup was simple with fun moments so everyone could focus on the beautiful pieces by the designer.
Here are some beauty looks from Michael Lo Sordo runway show.
Another fave was Albus Lumen. Earthy and jewel tones were paired with natural materials like linen and silk.
