How did you find out about Kate & Kole?

"We stumbled upon Kate & Kole on Instagram. Their posts felt genuine and down-to-earth, capturing a unique and special essence. The fact that they are a local Newcastle business made us feel an immediate connection."

Why did you choose to work with us? Was there anything in particular that drew you and your partner to our brand?

"Jordi was overwhelmed while searching through different jewellers, unsure of what to pick. A recently married friend shared their delightful experience at Kate & Kole for both engagement and wedding rings. That was the moment Jordi knew this was the place. The use of lab-grown diamonds reflecting sustainability, and the genuine, non-cookie-cutter designs truly set Kate & Kole apart."

Which ring did you choose for your forever piece, and why?

"Based on my preferences. Jordi chose the Clara design in 18ct white gold, featuring a 2.1 carat, oval diamond with F/G colour and VS1 clarity. Its simple elegance and timeless class makes it a piece to cherish forever. The high standard of gem means I know it will last forever."

What was your favourite part of your Kate & Kole experience?

"The online jewellery builder was a great tool, helping us understand the different design options before our studio visit. The staff were incredibly helpful, understanding that there’s a perfect design for every budget and preference."

Tell us a little bit about your proposal.

"That week, Newcastle was drenched with non-stop torrential rain, but as if the universe conspired for us, the clouds parted on Friday afternoon. Jordi had planned a special picnic and told me it was for a marketing photo shoot. When we arrived at the Obelisk in Newcastle, the photographer gave Jordi the cue, and he got down on one knee. The emotions were overwhelming, and I said yes. We celebrated at our favourite restaurant, Bocados, reliving cherished memories, and then embarked on a holiday to Sri Lanka and the Maldives. It was the perfect proposal and celebration."
