We recently had the pleasure of hearing from Rebecca and Corey, a K&K couple based in the USA, about their beautiful proposal during a morning boat ride and why they entrusted Kate & Kole to craft their forever ring.

How did you find out about Kate & Kole?

"We initially found out about Kate & Kole through a Pinterest post of a sparkling bespoke Toi et Moi engagement ring. I immediately fell in love with the elegant yet simple design. We visited Kate & Kole's website and found that it was easy and straightforward to customise a piece that we both loved."

Why did you choose to work with us? Was there anything in particular that drew you and your partner to our brand?

"After trying to find local jewellers in the United States that would be able to replicate something similar to what we were looking for, we realised that the process left us sacrificing certain aspects between design and budget. We decided to set up an initial call with one of Kate & Kole's customer experts to see what barriers we would have to cross. After talking with Kayla, we quickly learned that they would be able to easily quote handle our customisations and duty fees. With shipping and insurance covered, we realised that working internationally on our dream ring was easier than we expected!"

Which ring did you choose for your forever piece, and why?

"Upon first sight, the Toi et Moi piece had a unique yet timeless look. With so many different shapes, sizes and colours to choose from there is a greater chance that you will have a one of a kind ring. The meaning behind the design, which represents two lovers bonded for life, was romantic and gave the ring even more sentimental value. We knew we wanted to find exquisite lab-grown diamonds and Kate & Kole was highly regarded in that space."

What was your favourite part of your Kate & Kole experience?

"Our favourite part about the Kate & Kole experience was using the bespoke tool online to build and modify our personalised ring design. Everything about their website is easy and enjoyable."

Tell us a little bit about your proposal.

"On a warm summer morning, the day after celebrating with all of our family for America's Fourth of July holiday, Corey took me on a peaceful boat ride, just the two of us. With the rolling hills of forest pines as the backdrop and a new day's sun reflecting off of the sparkling water, he got down on one knee and asked if I would spend the rest of my life with him. Of course I said, yes! We were able to take in the awe of the moment alone, before heading back to the lake house to celebrate with our loved ones."
