Q. What is the meaning of each birthstone?

    A. The birthstone for January is Garnet. Garnet is a symbol of protection, faith, love and courage. It is thought to keep the wearer safe during travel and assist with energy levels.

    The birthstone for February is Amethyst. Amethyst is a symbol of wisdom and courage. It is said to strengthen relationships and thought to protect the wearer from illness and pain.

    The birthstone for March is Aquamarine. Aquamarine is a symbol of creativity, hope, self expression and courage. It is thought to be good for the heart, liver, and stomach.

    The birthstone for April is a Diamond. Diamonds are a symbol of everlasting love. It is thought to bring the wearer courage and strength.

    The birthstone for May is Emerald. Emeralds are a symbol of health, faithfulness, fertility and wealth. It was known to be one of Cleopatra’s favourite gems.

    The birthstone for June is Alexandrite. An alexandrite is a symbol of creativity, imagination and intuition. It represents the balance between the physical and spiritual, and can bring you into the balance of who you are.

    The birthstone for July is Ruby. The ruby is a symbol of love and passion. It is thought to bring good luck and good friends and protect its wearer from evil.

    The birthstone for August is Peridot. Peridot symbolises strength and peace. When worn with gold, this gem is said to protect the wearer from nightmares.

    The birthstone for November is Citrine. Citrine is a symbol of love and affection. It is believed to give the wearer increased strength and intellect. It is also said to protect the wearer from negative people.

    Q. Can I customise the chain length?

    A. Yes!

    If you'd like to request a shorter or longer chain at the time of purchase, this can be done here via our workshop. Please be sure to let us know the final chain length you desire.

    Q. Will the birthstone move freely along the chain?

    A. For this bracelet design, the charms are in fixed positions along the chain.

    Q. What is the difference between the metal types?

    A.  You can learn about the unique metal properties of 9ct and 18ct Yellow, Rose, and White gold, Silver and Platinum in our recent blog, here.

    Q. Can I add additional charms along the chain?

    A. To retrospectively add a charm you will need to return your bracelet to us and add a new charm and solder fee via the workshop. Contact us for more information.
