"Motherhood has been the most rewarding experience of my life.
Being a parent can be challenging, but I cherish the precious time I spend with my daughter, she is the light of my life."
—Lattitia Gilmore
What is the biggest lesson your daughter Lucy has taught you?
"Nothing can prepare you for the journey you’re about to embark on.
The biggest lesson has probably been exercising patience in stressful situations (we’re talking 10 toddler tantrums a day).
I saw a quote 'while we teach our children about life, our children teach us what life is all about'. I think that is pretty accurate because being a parent has made me realise what is truly important."
One piece of advice that you would share to other mums & mums to be?
"My best advice would be to enjoy the newborn snuggles because they grow up so fast. Be kind to yourself, lean on others for support and when times are tough, remember it’s just a season."
What did your career look like prior to becoming a mother?
Did your career change at all after welcoming your daughter Lucy?
"Pre-motherhood I was a full-time Fashion Editor working on multiple magazine titles but since welcoming Lucy Earth-side, I’ve ventured into the freelance world which I’m loving.
Creatively, having a variation of projects keeps me stimulated and at the pulse of the industry, whilst also the flexibility to spend quality time with Lucy during these early childhood years."
