  1. A conversation with Gemma Sampson

On quiet rituals, lasting influence, and the gentle power of simply being there

  1. What gesture or action do you hope your children will always recognise as a sign of your love?

No matter how busy life gets, I always try to be home to put them to bed. That quiet time – chatting about their day, reading a book, tucking them in – is sacred. It’s often when the best conversations happen!

Sometimes it takes a while to get things out of them, but I’ve learned that listening and offering a bit of advice or reassurance (even if it’s past bedtime) means everything. I hope they grow up knowing that even with everything on my plate, I was always there to say goodnight, cuddle up and make them feel loved.

  1. What’s a small moment in motherhood that felt big to you?

Catching a glimpse of one of my kids mimicking something I’ve said or done.

Whether it’s pretending to take a phone call or “working on their laptop”, it’s a small moment, but it reminds me they’re always watching. We have this huge influence on their little worlds and it’s a reminder that whilst I’m doing my best to model what it means to be passionate, driven and hardworking, it’s also a cue to slow down and be present.

That kind of impact is both grounding and empowering.

  1. If you were dropping a hint for Mother's Day, which K&K piece would be at the top of your list?

It’s hard to choose, but the Pear Diamond Studs are at the top of my list. They are classic, yet modern and I would wear them every day. The perfect mix of simple, special and timeless.
