The Finer Details

Description

Each order is sent as a beautifully wrapped gift set, making it ready to give from the moment it’s received. Designed to be treasured forever, this necklace is a thoughtful and interactive piece that carries a personal story close to the heart.

Step One | Draw the Heart
Use the drawing card included in your gift set to create a heart using a black or blue ink pen. Younger children may need a little help, and for babies or toddlers, gently bring their two index fingers together, place them on the card, and trace the outline to form a heart.

Step Two | Send It to Us
Once complete, either take a clear photo of the heart and email it to our team, or return the original card in person to our Newcastle studio. If there are any issues with the drawing, we will be in touch before proceeding.

Step Three | Creation
We translate the drawing into a 3D printable file, then cast it in solid silver or gold and hand-finish the piece in our Newcastle studio. Please allow approximately 3 to 4 weeks for production.

Step Four | Your Keepsake is Complete!
Your finished necklace is beautifully packaged and ready for delivery or collection.

This piece is made to order in our Newcastle studio and may take up to four weeks to create. Production will only commence once your drawings have been received by our team.

Our signature fine chain is beautifully delicate, so we recommend taking extra care to avoid catching or stretching. Please note that wear and tear isn’t covered under warranty.

Q: How do I submit the drawing?

A: You can either take a clear photo of the completed heart and email it to our team, or return the original card in person to our Newcastle studio. If there are any issues with the drawing, we will contact you before proceeding.

Q: How long does it take to receive my necklace?

A: Once we receive your drawing, production usually takes 3 to 4 weeks. This includes 3D printing, casting in silver or gold, and hand-finishing in our Newcastle studio.

Q: Can I return my hand-drawn heart for an exchange or store credit?

A: These Hand Drawn Heart Charms are completely customised, so they are unfortunately ineligible for exchange or store credit. However, if you need your chain length adjusted, we can easily do that for you. Please double-check your order before submitting, and feel free to contact us with any questions—we’re always happy to help.

Q: What’s the difference between 9ct and 18ct gold?

A: The difference is the percentage of pure gold in the alloy—9ct gold has 37.5% gold, while 18ct has 75%. This affects the colour, hardness, and durability of your piece.
